Careers, personal concerns or difficulties with relationships are just some sources of stress in life. Applying proven methods, ASSIST works with you to foster a close and trusting relationship.
Our aim is to create a stronger and more resilient you; one confident and capable to work through whatever difficulties you may be facing. As such, your treatment is guided by you. ASSIST staff can lend a supportive ear, provide advice and strategies, or simply be a guiding hand when you most need it.
ASSIST has supported many people over the years from all walks of life, experiencing a variety of concerns:
- General support and guidance through life transitions and crises.
- Assistance with relationship or family problems.
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work assistance
- Psychological therapies for diagnosed mental health disorders
- Depression and sadness
- Anxiety disorders including panic attacks

- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

- Grief and loss counselling
- Processing of past trauma, abuse or neglect, and family issues

Speak with your GP or Psychiatrist about a referral. Your GP can refer under a Mental Health Care Plan, if they deem it appropriate, enabling you to receive a Medicare rebate on sessions with ASSIST.
